Most kids I know like to draw. It's the best way to express yourself finally, enjoy yourself, and as an added bonus, you can use your drawing skills to make gifts for some individuals. Practice makes better
You've probably heard the phrase, "practice makes perfect." Well, which is a lie. Practice doesn't make perfect, but it makes better. No matter how good your drawing skills have become, you can still practice and acquire better. Even professionals continue to practice and learn, on a regular basis.
So convert it into a priority to train regularly. Every day is better, but it doesn't have to be for any while. If you can squeeze in 15 or twenty or so minutes each day, you will observe a positive change immediately. What's that--you say you might be too busy? How about drawing when the commercials occur in your favorite television show. You can simply get twenty or so minutes of practice in should you choose that throughout the commercials of just one one-hour show.
Use size to point out distance
The closer something is always to you, the larger it looks. So for those who have two objects about the page and want to make one look farther away, ensure it is small compared to the other one. This works better still if you put in a straight line, known as a horizon line, going through the page. Erase other locations where your two objects cross those lines.
Draw closer objects lower about the page
If you might be drawing two trees, and one is nearer to you, draw that particular lower about the page. This will ensure it is look like nearer to you. Even better, draw it lower about the page and bigger than the other tree.
Now try adding a horizon line through the page, somewhere therefore it crossed the trees. Erase the queue where it crosses the trees, because the trees have been around in front of the queue. You just did three things to make your drawing look more three-dimensional and real. That wasn't so desperately, could it have been?
The next step is always to apply the following tips you've learned for a drawings. This will help them look more believable. Even should you draw cartoons and never realistic drawings, using size and foreshortening could make your drawings better still.
